Here is my first attempt of sewing something for myself. Wanted to coordinate with the girls' dresses for the 4th of July so I made the sash to match one of their dresses. I ended up not wearing it because I decided to wear shorts instead but, I can say it was really easy to make IF you don't have a toddler and a baby making you stop after every step, thus making it seem as if it was taking forever. I used this High-Waisted Sash Skirt Tutorial and I think it turned out really cute.
I want to wear it with a white tee and red or white shoes. Can't wait!
